We are immensely proud of our Carers. Each Carer is carefully recruited and selected for their diverse experiences, depth of knowledge, skill and empathy.

We take our Carer compatibility seriously - your relationship with your Carer is the foundation to exceptional care. You will be personally introduced to every Carer and we promise there will be "no strangers at the door"

Carer Training

 

We believe in providing our Carers with the knowledge and skills needed to enable them to provide you with the very best care and support.

 

Our dedicated in-house training programme consists of:

  • Comprehensive orientation
  • Certification at nationally recognised levels
  • On the job competency assessments
  • Independent assessments relevant to our Care and Support
  • Carer network lunches with speakers from community organisations providing services and support to older persons

We support our Carers by providing other platforms of education such as:

  • Palliative Care training through Mary Potter Hospice
  • On-line dementia education through Tasmania University
